A year to remember, in a book of its own

A birthday is a receipt for a year gone by: new words, new friends, a lost tooth or a first swim. In a personalised book that year becomes a story. The child is the main character, brothers, sisters and pets can come along, and what has happened during the year is woven into the plot. The pictures are drawn from a photo, so the child recognises themselves on every spread. The book is both a present and a memory, something to take out on the next birthday and see how much has happened since.

A foreword that lasts

Write a foreword from you as the giver: a few lines about the child and the year gone by, which the child can read again in ten years' time.
